Our Mission

For almost a century since its inception in 1917, the Rotary Club of Regina has brought together leaders from our community representing a diversity of cultures and occupations to share ideas, form lifelong friendships, and take action to create positive change in our community and the world.  Driven by Rotary's motto of 'Service Above Self' these leaders hold each other accountable to Rotary's Four Way Test:  Is it the Truth?  Is it Fair to All Concerned?  Will it Build Good Will and Better Friendships?  Will it be Beneficial to All Concernced? Together with over 1.2 million Rotarians worldwide we seek to do good in the world through involvement in local and global projects.

About REGINA ROTARY CLUB COMMUNITY FUND

Through its Foundation, the Regina Rotary Club Community Fund Inc., the Rotary Club of Regina has raised funds to support a variety of local and global projects.  The Regina Rotary Club Community Fund Inc., is a registered charity and all funds donated through the Foundation receive a charitable tax receipt.  Over the years funds raised have supported a variety of programs focused on promoting literacy, community service, a long term partnership in support of Campus Regina Public, a Conflict Management Conference with the Regina Public School Board and various Youth Leadership Camps.  Our Rotary club also supports long and short-term Youth Exchange Programs as well as international related endeavors involving building schools and improving health and related standards of living; and most notably the eradication of polio.

For the past several years the Club has chosen to sponsor an education program for children in Tanzania with Albinism.  These children are often mutilated for their body parts by witch doctors and many die as a result of their injuries.  In partnership with Under The Same Sun we provide funds to assist in providing quality education for these children in an environment where they are safe, protected, and can receive the necessary health care and visual aids to maximize their learning opportunity.

For the past 75 years, the Rotary Club of Regina has also sponsored the Rotary Carol Festival which involves over 60 local choirs.  Funds raised support local community nonprofit organizations and projects.
