Refuge Kitty-Kat rescue was founded in 2014 and is a registered charity organization.

We are a foster based rescue, we do not mix cats in one place to avoid stress and health hazards. The cats stay in their individual foster home until fully vetted and adopted.

Each of our cats get vaccinated and de-wormed, receive flea treatment, are sterilized ,microchiped, and tested for feline aids and leukemia.

Some come to us sick, needing antibiotics, fluids, some get hospitalized, some need dentistry. We also provide our foster food and litter to the fosters.

The costs quickly adds up.

Our adoption process is like a real adoption, with a contract made by a lawyer. We do screening,  home checks, and make sure the cat get along with the people interested in them. We  bring the cat ourselves on their adoption day and get them settled, and we have another visit a few weeks after adoptions.

It is a long process as we look for the perfect match for each cat.

We pride ourselves on the quality of work rather than quantity. It isn’t a race to get them adopted quickly. We concentrate on each cat’s needs and educate people on how to keep their cat safe, proper nutrition and care.

Adopters like our system as they feel supported and we are always there to answer their questions or concerns, weather behaviur issues or health concerns.

We do not receive any funding, we rely solely on donations and fundraising events.

Without help we simply cannot continue our mission to save abandoned cats and safely put them in a forever home.

It is a mission of love, and it takes a village!
