Our Mission

The Ralph Thornton Centre has been a cornerstone of the vibrant South Riverdale community for almost 30 years. Over the years, RTC has played a key role in bringing community members together to identify, discuss and address local issues and needs. We strive to promote the true spirit of community and build a healthy, inclusive neighbourhood. Our supportive environment enables citizens to connect with each other and access important resources.

Everyone in South Riverdale, regardless of background or circumstance is welcome in the halls of RTC. Whether you are interested in child and youth programs, our computer resource centre, recreation and education, community news and activism or simply a meeting space to host your own gatherings, we have room for you.
