PEI Ground Search and Rescue (PEIGSAR) is a volunteer-based, non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of the people of Prince Edward Island. Operating 24/7, 365 days a year, our dedicated volunteers are always ready to respond to search and rescue missions across the province, regardless of the season or time of day.
Our primary mission is to locate and rescue individuals who are lost or injured, providing crucial assistance in emergency situations. To fulfil this mission, PEIGSAR members undergo regular training in navigation, survival techniques, first aid, search strategies, and more. This ongoing training ensures that our team is equipped with the skills and knowledge to act swiftly and efficiently when lives are at stake.
As a community-driven organization, PEIGSAR relies on donations from individuals, businesses, and corporate sponsors to fund training, maintain equipment, and support our mission. Your generous contributions help us continue to provide these vital services to the people of PEI.
Every donation, large or small, makes a significant difference in ensuring that PEIGSAR remains ready to respond when our community needs us the most.
