The consensus among diverse creative workers is that 'who you know' is critical to obtaining paid employment. Underrepresented and racialized creatives face the double bind of having to confront systemic and structural barriers while being continually excluded from the TV, film & commercial industries due to expensive and outdated training, irrelevant social capital and exclusion from industry networks.

We believe that working in the TV, Film and content prudction  industry should not be a privilege afforded only to those with the means, resources and networks to break in.  Since 2007, we have been levelling the playing field for diverse young creatives through training, mentorship, networking, and opening doors that lead to self-sufficiency in the media industry.
