Pine Grove Cemetery Company is located at 3056 Alton Road, MacKay Siding, Nova Scotia, mailing address at 2840 Alton Road, East Stewiacke, Nova Scotia, B0N 2J0

This cemetery is continuing work on levelling, cement headstone to base where needed and cleaning.  If a family wishes to have work done on their stones all we ask is a donation over $20.00 and a tax receipt is issued. In 2019 we raised, leveled and cleaned at military stones for Veteran Affairs which will be a yearly job. A new area of the cemetery has a section of pine trees and we are turning this area into a Veterans garden with a cross pathway having a flower bed and the top and a bench on each wing of the cross. Both sheds and the outhouse are sided in blue with window trim. Three sides of lot has had chain-link fence added by donations and wishing to due the forth side.  A 12 niche Columbarium has been added with 6 now sold.

Financial - Donations are always needed to continue upkeep.  

The database has been cleaned up and can be viewed at Stewiacke.net just scroll down and look for NEWS, a new map is now developed. When this is done we wish to have a website developed along with a new cemetery program but these can only be wishes until additional donations are received.

2020 will see all the old stones repaired and all veteran stones identified and repaired where necessary. The order has been placed for the supports and will be installed 2021and at that time all will be cleaned.

2021 will be the year for the new garden and continued work on the Scattering Garden.
