The “SOLE PURPOSE WALK-A-THON” is a family-friendly fund-raising 5K Walk for The PPC Hub building project; a future centre for vulnerable youth and seniors in the Durham community.
The Cause: statistics indicate a huge increase in needs and services for both Youth & Seniors since the end of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Solution: The PPC Hub - 7000 sq. ft. of space which requires complete renovation to bring to an operational level as a multi-functional usable space. This will create a safe place for Durham's community of youth and seniors to gather. Services offered will provide holistic support: teaching, integrated programing, forging vital connections, social engagement, and empowerment.
The Goal: To raise $100,000 towards the estimated renovation project cost of $1 Million.
Can you join us? ~ SATURDAY, JUNE 7, 2025 at OSHAWA'S LAKEVIEW PARK & WATERFRONT TRAIL.
Bring your family and friends to fundraise with us. You can walk the entire 5K or a portion of it!
Individual adults can register for $20 per person, and kids under 18 are free!
