About Phoenix Youth Programs
Since 1987, Phoenix has been dedicated to supporting youth and contributing to a vibrant community. Phoenix's fourteen locations in Halifax/K'jipuktuk provide a continuum of care for youth ages 11-24 and their families. We offer important services and programs including shelter, food, housing support, health care, parenting support, recreation, education and employment services, and clinical therapy. Our team of caring professionals recognizes that each person who comes to us has individual needs as well as strengths. People are the leaders in their own lives; Phoenix is a leader in supporting them.

OUR PROGRAMS:
Phoenix Youth Shelter: a short-term residential facility (20 bedrooms) for youth 16 - 24 years of age.
Phoenix Supportive Housing Program: Phoenix House (10 bedrooms) and Phoenix Homes for Independence (five locations, supportive living accommodations for youth residing in the space). Mid to long-term residential programs for youth 16-24 years of age.
Phoenix Learning & Employment Centre: employability skills training, career pathing, educational support.
Phoenix Youth and Family Therapy: confidential, free of charge clinical therapy supports for youth 11 - 24 years of age and their families
Phoenix Youth & Community Centre: providing a variety of supports and programming opportunities for the community of Mulgrave Park and to youth 12 years and up.
Phoenix Centre for Youth: a youth drop-in centre offering case management support, laundry services, emergency food, clothing and supplies, internet access, parenting support and trusteeship services, housing support and health services (on-site nurse).
Phoenix Youth Outreach Program: bridging gaps to services by meeting youth 'where they are' across the Halifax Regional Municipality.
LE@P (Learn and Explore at Phoenix): arts, recreation and skill building opportunities for youth connected with Phoenix to promote health, well-being, and connection to the community of which we all are a part.
