The Petro-Canada CareMakers Foundation is dedicated to supporting Canada’s unpaid family caregivers. Help us fund critical programs and resources that can improve their lives.

Family caregivers provide roughly 75 per cent of all patient care in Canada. This means that most caregiving happens in private. It’s a job that doesn’t always give breaks, days off or holidays.

Even though it’s a responsibility that affects over 8 million Canadians, it’s rarely talked about, leaving many caregivers without the support they need both physically and mentally.

With your support the Petro-Canada CareMakers Foundation is bringing awareness to the issues caregivers face and helping improve their lives by:

• Funding vital programs and resources that help caregivers live well-balanced and well-supported lives while giving care

• Working with experts and organizations across Canada to create conversations where information, ideas and best practices can be shared

• Inspiring Canadians to recognize the challenges faced by family caregivers and offer their support
