Over the past decade, the cost of veterinary care has soared, making it increasingly challenging to provide for the thousands of shelter animals we care for each year. To ensure we never have to make heartbreaking decisions due to a lack of funds, we must take action.

Many modern shelters have in-house clinics, but as a municipal shelter, we are unable to expand on our current property. To continue saving lives and supporting our community, we are raising funds to acquire and retrofit a building into a veterinary clinic, staffed by shelter personnel and a full-time veterinarian.

Our long-term goal is to expand services to assist low-income families, helping to keep pets in their homes and reducing the number of animals surrendered due to financial hardship.
