I have the honour of being the handler (AKA Mum) for Accredited Facility Dog Norquay. He works at Metro Vancouver Transit Police and is making a difference every day with employees. I have witnessed first hand, with Norquay, the impact a PADS dog can have on individuals by normalizing a situation, bringing calmness and provide a soothing touch.
I am challenging myself to get on the spin bike, use the elliptical or walk 1km for every $5.00 I raise throughout the month of June.

Did you know that PADS is Canada's very first fully accredited assistance dog school? They breed, raise and train life-changing assistance dogs for people with disabilities, including Mobility Service Dogs, PTSD Dogs for Veterans and First Responders, Hearing Dogs for those that are deaf or hard of hearing; even Accredited Facility Dogs to work alongside community care professionals.
All money raised will make sure PADS can continue to breed, raise and train PADS life-changing dogs during this incredibly challenging time.
