Overview
Please join Ottawa Friends of Tibet (OFT) for a celebration of Tibetan culture. Adults and children alike will delight in an afternoon of traditional Tibetan food, dance, and merriment...not to mention shopping!
This is an opportunity to support a very worthy cause at the same time as you experience Tibetan cuisine, culture, and arts. It is also an opportunity to get acquainted with the Ottawa-based Tibetan Community and to meet OFT's directors, members and supporters.
Your participation could make a world of difference in the lives of Tibetan refugees, students, and communities.

Details
CELEBRATE TIBETAN CULTURE is a heart-warming and educational gathering. Come and savour light and delicious traditional Tibetan foods, including momos, a rice-based dessert, and butter tea. Vegetarian, meat, and gluten-free momo options are available.
Sit back and watch a colourful Tibetan dance performance by members of the Tibetan community in Ottawa, who will then lead all of us in a traditional circle dance.
As always, OFT's Annual Silent Auction and Himalayan Bazaar will feature a wide array of high quality and unique treasures -- jewelry, singing bowls, thangkas, a Tibetan carpet, and many other collectables and wearables -- most from the Himalayan region.
Learn about OFT's work through a slide show of images from its current projects, presented by its board members.
Advance Tickets: | Adults : $60 | Children 10-16 & Students : $20 | Children under 10 : $15 |. Adult Tickets at the Door: $65. Tax Receipts ($22) will be issued for adult tickets.
If you cannot join us, or even if you can, please consider making a donation by going to oft.ca and clicking on the Donate Now button. Your generosity will support OFT's projects with diaspora Tibetans in exile.
