About Campaign

One of the highlights of my five years working at Ontario Nature was helping to raise enough funds to create the Sydenham River Nature Reserve. Protecting this spectacular natural area that provides a refuge for a number of at-risk species is a wonderful example of what we can accomplish for conservation when we work together.

Ontario Nature is restoring four old farm fields on the property to the original Carolinian forest and tallgrass prairie habitat. We'll be doing wildlife surveys, establishing vernal pools for salamanders, planting native grasses and trees.

With your help, we can restore this rare habitat so that species like the Cerulean Warbler and Bobolink can thrive. Even a small gift can make a huge impact. Thank you!
