Danny and I have been going for lots of walks since this pandemic started, and we thought that this fundraiser would be a good excuse to challenge ourselves even more. Although we won't be running (not quite there yet!), our goal is to walk 6 km. So on Sat. May 30th, we will start out from our house in Kitchener and walk to MCC's Thrift on Kent (approximately a 3 km walk). If Thrift on Kent is open (I believe it plans to re-open on May 26th!), then we can support MCC even more, by doing a bit of shopping (and taking a break!), before we do the 3 km walk back home again. Might even stop at City Cafe Bakery on the way back to treat ourselves to some baked goods (although won't be as good as the relief sale donuts!)
