I'm Hiking for Hospice again this year... in memory of my Mom.
Mom was cared for in her final days at Bethell House in Inglewood where our whole family could spend quality time with her in a home-like setting. We were able to 'be' with her while her medical needs were attended to by trained professionals 24/7... I'll never forget the compassionate volunteers and staff who helped us through an impossibly difficult time.
Your donations will help Oak Ridges Hospice of Durham establish a residential hospice in Port Perry to serve the Durham community. They've done so much already but still need our help to push the facility forward. My hope is that one day residential hospices will be the norm instead of the exception.
