At NPower Canada, we envision a diverse tech workforce, where every individual – regardless of their culture, ethnicity, gender, or socio-economic background – is empowered to take control of their future career. By 2025, there are estimated to be more than 2.2 million digital jobs available in Canada. Yet, not all Canadian job seekers have traditional pathways available to them to attain these in-demand roles.

That’s why, by 2025, NPower Canada is on a mission to upskill 15,000 low-income, barriered job seekers with the critical skills and industry certifications needed to transition into Canada’s digital economy and rebuild their professional resilience.

NPower Canada programs provide participants with free in-demand digital and professional skills training, and connects them to new and rewarding career opportunities with some of Canada’s largest employers. Through its virtual no-cost IT skills training, professional development, job placement, and alumni services, NPower Canada achieves social impact by upskilling youth and adults facing systemic barriers to employment, such as BIPOC youth, New Canadians, LGBTQ2S+, and job seekers with disabilities, with the technical and professional skills employers urgently need.

Through its dual-client approach, NPower Canada provides employers with access to a pipeline of eager, diverse and job-ready talent with in-demand digital skills who are primed to succeed in the workplace. Graduates receive ongoing support and coaching to ensure continued success in their careers.
