About NORTHWESTERN ONTARIO WOMEN'S CENTRE
The Centre works with women to increase their access to knowledge, skills and resources so they can make informed and strategic choices. Through presentations and information clinics, we work to increase understanding and awareness of issues that affect women: violence, sexism, racism, poverty, sexual orientation, access to justice and human rights.
The Centre also advocates for systemic change to public policies and practices that impact women's lives. We provide print resources including books and pamphlets on a wide range of women's concerns and interests.
