We are the fundraising organization of the “Nikkei Place” Japanese Canadian community in Burnaby.
The Nikkei Place Foundation is changing the lives of people in Greater Vancouver by working with its partners Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre (NNMCC) and the Nikkei Seniors Health Care and Housing Society (NSHCHS).
Founded in 2002, the Nikkei Place Foundation (NPF) is a charitable fundraising organization for the Nikkei Place Japanese Canadian community. We invest in innovative programs that reduce the impacts of aging, increase educational opportunities, and promote racial and cultural harmony.
We promote philanthropy through meaningful partnerships with our donors and to increase current and future support of the Nikkei Place Endowment Fund. This fund is meant to support in perpetuity the programs that preserve our heritage and culture, while helping to build a strong and vibrant community.
