Earth Day, every day - nature needs us!
We all want clean water and fresh air. Making time to do our part for nature, though, can be a challenge.
On Earth Day '25, consider giving $25 for conservation in the Niagara Peninsula watershed.
A new native tree can be planted for about $12 - your gift would add two trees to cool our communities, create habitat and sequester carbon.
$25 could help protect 100 sq m. of ecologically important land; $2500 would secure a hectare!
Whatever you can give - $5, $25, $2500... your generosity will make a difference.
Our natural spaces are precious: from the soaring cliffs of the Escarpment and thundering waterfalls to wildlife-rich wetlands and wildflower meadows. As part of the Carolinian Zone, they form one of the most biodiverse ecoregions in Canada, and the environmental, social, recreational and economic impacts they create benefit us all.
As we face climate change, more frequent extreme weather events and ongoing development pressures, protecting green space is more urgent than ever.
