About Newmarket African Caribbean Canadian Association
Established in 2018, Newmarket African Caribbean Canadian Association (NACCA) is a registered charity with a mandate to connect and build community, support and strengthen Black families and empower Black youth. We offer ongoing programs such as:
- Financial and mental health education to members of the Black community
- Annual scholarships for postsecondary education to encourage academic excellence.
- Educational workshop, seminars and presentations about racial prejudice and discrimination in Canadian society with the aim of fostering multiculturalism and reducing the negative impact of racism
- Food and other basic necessities of life to individuals and families who are poor, of low income, or in need
