New West Family Place is family resource centre and community hub that has been providing support and resources to New West families with children birth through five since 1989. It has been a second home to thousands of local families over the past 31 years. We offer free, family-centred, drop-in, programming all around New West, as well as regular parenting education programs, support groups and one-to-one outreach across New Westminster. Throughout this pandemic we have been doing this in small groups and online – providing support to thousands of kids and grown ups throughout this difficult time.

Our team are the early childhood educators and family support workers that connect through family support, play-based learning, early learning and literacy, parent education and learning, and information and referrals. We know that New West Family Place’s success hinges on the amazing team of Olga, Heba, Sandra, Diana, Fay, Dana, Anna, Paula and the Board of Directors that supports and governs the not-for-profit charity.
