Thanks to the Ontario Provincial Police’s Project Journey and New Hope Community Bikes, youth of Pikangikum First Nation can experience the joy of riding through Pikangikum’s Bike Program.
On February 7th, 2020 I will be riding 110 km of snow and ice road from Red Lake, Ontario to Pikangikum First Nation to raise money for Pikangikum’s Bike Program. Pikangium’s Bike Program provides Pikangikum’s youth access to bicycles, group rides and technical skill development, established trails and a pump track, bicycle repair at the community bike shop, and employment for community members. Proceeds from this fundraiser will help provide year-round access to cycling through the purchase of 10 fat tire bicycles. In addition, money raised will support the bike shop for the next two summers!
Any contributions you can make in support of this program would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
