Myriad Ensemble is a choir based in Burlington, Ontario under the leadership of Elise Naccarato. With a vision to inspire through the art of choral music, they are quickly establishing themselves as a Canadian choir that sings with a rich sound and shared passion while fostering new artistic talent. The ensemble specializes in singing contemporary music by female composers. Their diverse repertoire includes pieces by Katerina Gimon, Burlington native and one of CBC’s hot Canadian classical musicians under 30, Hildegard von Bigen, a composer and philosopher from the 1100s, and all-female folk group, The Waillin’ Jennys.
Myriad had its debut performance with Symphony on the Bay, Burlington’s community orchestra, in 2017, and incorporated as a non-profit charitable organization in 2020. In 2021, they were voted one of Burlington’s top music education programs, receiving a Gold CommunityVotes Burlington award. Today, Myriad continues to perform in and around the Greater Toronto Area, sharing their quality sound and love of music with audiences.
