Uganda is one of the poorest countries in the world. Out of a population of 48.5 million, 44% are young people aged 0-14 (World Bank, 2023), and access to education in the country is extremely limited.
The prime objective of this project is “to see that the less advantaged and impoverished children can have a chance to study and stay in school, which can only be achieved if someone from the outside is inspirited to help with whatever they can, hence the saying Give a little, Change a lot!”
Goals
To provide quality Christ-centered education to the underprivileged children attending the Emmaus schools in Buikwe District, Uganda.
Activities
- Cover school fees for underprivileged children. $50 covers educational needs, including board, food, medicine, school supplies and uniform for one student for one month.
- Cover school operating and management costs, such as teacher salaries, school supplies, meals or school administrative costs.
