The project aims to pursue excellence in education, research, healthcare and innovation by enabling a creative and dynamic learning environment, developing sustainable research solutions, building bridges between academia, industry and society, and inculcating values and ethics in thought, expression and deed.

Activities

• Provide financial aid to students from underprivileged backgrounds for higher education;
• Provide support (travel grants, etc.) for students to pursue their research;
• Upgrade infrastructures and laboratories to improve the learning environment and research capabilities;
• Establish a super-specialty hospital along with an advanced research medical school.

Myriad Canada is working with the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur on this project. Established in 1959, IIT Kanpur holds the distinction of being recognized as an Institute of National Importance by the Government of India through an Act of Parliament. Renowned for its excellence in science and engineering education, IIT Kanpur has made significant contributions to research and development over the decades. Its expansive, lush green campus spans 1,050 acres and hosts a rich array of academic and research resources.
