G201 - The Wellbeing Project

The Wellbeing Project is catalyzing a culture of wellbeing for all changemakers. It works to strengthen the field of social change by bringing a greater focus on individual and organizational wellbeing. Research within the Wellbeing project demonstrates that by supporting changemakers’ deep inner work, they experience profound shifts in who they are, what they do, and how they run organizations. As a result, changemakers become healthier individuals, they build stronger and more human-centered workplaces, and they catalyze greater innovation and collaboration in the sector.

The Wellbeing Project is co-created with Ashoka, Georgetown University, Impact Hub, Porticus, the Skoll Foundation and the Synergos Institute. They choose to work as a collaborative co-creation convinced that with deep mutual trust and bringing our different capacities, imagination and creativity that can rapidly and powerfully catalyze a culture of inner wellbeing for all changemakers can be unleashed.

In this context, Myriad Canada is working with researchers and the Wellbeing project in order to:

  • Conduct research and develop a Knowledge Center on the connection between inner development/well being and social change, in particular to examine how inner wellbeing may contribute to the actions we take in support of social good. The research is based on cases, interviews with many changemakers all over the world. Credible research is critical to taking an orientation towards inner development into the social change mainstream.
  • Disseminate the findings of the research. The findings will be open source.
