In recent years, Rhodes University has experienced an unprecedented increase in demand for financial assistance from current and prospective students. We firmly believe that no academically strong student should be denied access to university because they cannot afford the fees.

The cost of a scholarship for an undergraduate student ranges from around $9,700 CAD per year to around $12,300 CAD per year, including tuition fees, accommodation and study materials.

Goals

• To provide scholarships to academically deserving students in financial need to enable them to begin or continue their academic studies at Rhodes University. Scholarships are awarded following a collective and objective decision-making process.
