Over the last 15 years, tuition costs have significantly increased at ESCP Business School, reaching approximately 17,000 euros per year. As it is very important to continue to select the best students according to their intellectual capacity independently from their family financial situation, there is a need to offer scholarships to those who cannot afford to pay the tuition fees.
Goals
Promote social inclusion, equal opportunities and academic innovation.
Activities
-Providing scholarships to deserving students in financial need.
- The school has a distinctive offer: all students need to go through 2 to 3 campuses for any program. This is very attractive to students but there are also additional costs linked to changing countries. Therefore, one of the needs would be to support students in financial need for their mobility.
- The school is also offering exceptional opportunities of double diploma with top tier universities in the United States and Asia. However, some of them require paying tuitions fees much higher than the ESCP’s. Therefore, another need would be to support the students that are selected but cannot afford those additional fees.
-Ensuring equal opportunities for all students.-Providing a quality student experience to develop a community with a strong diversity of talents from all nationalities and origins.-Fostering entrepreneurship.-Supporting academic research.
Myriad Canada is working with the ESCP Foundation on this project, a charity organisation based in France which aims to support its school and its students, more specifically the ambitions and the academic excellence of ESCP Business School through equal opportunities and inclusion, student experience, excellence in academic research and pedagogical innovation, and entrepreneurship.
In 2023, the total number of students was 9,700 and 869 scholarships were awarded on social criteria.
