Tariq Harb at Central United

Musique Royale is delighted to present guitar sensation Tariq Harb in Lunenburg on Friday March 18th at 7:30 pm for a concert of musical treasures. Celebrated as “Canada's next classical guitar superstar" by CBC Radio's NEXT! Guitarist in 2013, Harb quickly established himself as one of the leading classical guitarists of his generation. Praised for his playing which demonstrates "not just his flawless technique but also his refined taste and a great, innate sense for truly beautiful interpretation" (The Jordan Times), Harb has performed in the world’s most prestigious halls, including the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Cairo Opera House, and Carnegie Hall in New York. Harb is also a published composer. His most recent composition “Spirit” – a suite in five movements – will be featured during his tour with Debut Atlantic. This concert is part of Tariq’s tour with Debut Atlantic around the Maritime provinces.
