Duo Concertante in Lunenburg, 2025

Musique Royale welcomes Duo Concertante to perform at St John's Anglican Church in Lunenburg on Sunday March 16 at 4 pm. Often referred to as Canada’s premiere violin and piano ensemble, violinist Nancy Dahn and pianist Timothy Steeves are partners in music and in life. Their upcoming program features sonatas by Beethoven, Franck, and Swedish composer Amanda Röntgen-Maier who was the first woman to graduate in music direction from the Royal College of Music in Stockholm in 1872, and a new piece by Luis Ramirez that was written for the duo.
