A Rose In Winter 2023

Grammy Award-winner Paul Halley will again showcase his singers from The Choir of All Saints Cathedral in a concert performance celebrating this joyous season. This year’s presentation will feature guest artist, Alexander Dobson, described by Opera Canada as “one of the most impressive Canadian baritones of this generation.” The highlight of the program of Christmas readings and carols will be Vaughan Williams’ “Fantasia on Christmas Carols”, with Dobson as baritone soloist, and choir and organ performing what is best described as the spirit of the season encapsulated in sound.

Alexander Dobson, whose rich and sonorous baritone voice is known to audiences of both opera and oratorio, was recently heard in Capella Regalis’ ‘For All The City’ presentation of the Faure “Requiem”. Dobson is sure to please the crowds again this December in ‘A Rose In Winter’.
