The West Parry Sound Health Centre (WPSHC) Nurse Practitioner-Led Clinic (NPLC) in Whitestone provides primary care to residents and cottagers in the surrounding area. A full-time nurse practitioner works collaboratively with a family physician, registered nurse, social worker, physiotherapist, and mental health and addictions counsellor.

We have outgrown our building and are planning an expansion of 1,000 square feet at grade with a full basement. Whitestone Council, in partnership with WPSHC, and with financial support from McKellar and Magnetawan Councils is expanding the NPLC building in 2022. We have also applied for significant funding from federal and provincial grant programs.

An anonymous donor has offered to match donations from the general public up to a total of $80,000. Your donation will go twice as far!!

Design and planning is underway in support of this wonderful community asset to meet the needs of our community and surrounding communities with:

• Safer care with more space to improve infection prevention and control.
• Improved access to care with more patient rooms for scheduling our existing care team.
• Potential for additional health and wellness services depending on community needs, service provider interest and Ministry of Health funding.
