Walk for Mushhole Survivors

I will be particiapting in a 17 km walk starting at the Mohawk Institute Resdiential School and walking to Chiefswood Park along the Grand River. This was a common route that the children would take when they were running back to their homes on Six Nations Reserve to get away from the abuse and torment they were being put through at the school.

All funds raised from the walk will be going towards the construction of the Mohawk Memorial Park. A Park that is being constructed on the Mushhole grounds to honour former Mohawk Institute Indian Residential School students who attended the school as children.
