OUR MISSION: To enrich our community by fostering an appreciation of the visual arts through education, exhibition and engagement; and by enhancing the vitality of the artistic community.

Incorporated in 1978, Visual Arts Mississauga (VAM) at Riverwood is a not-for-profit charitable arts organization. As one of Mississauga’s pillar arts organizations, VAM concentrates its efforts on three areas of excellence: Art Education, Art Exhibition and Community Engagement.

VAM MEMORIAL FUND

The VAM Memorial Fund was established through donations made by the families and friends of members who have passed on. These funds are designated to support Member events and programs.

VAM CREATIVE KIDS' FUND

The VAM Creative Kids' Fund supports fully funded or subsidized programs for youth in financial need. VAM works with Peel District School Board teachers, Peel Children's Aid and other youth organizations to identify youth who would benefit by taking an art course or participating in a week of kids' art camp. 

GENERAL FUND

Visual Arts Mississauga has supported the arts and artists in our community building on three pillars of excellence: arts education, arts exhibition and community engagement. All donations will go to help us develop free and affordable arts programming for our community.
