Welcome to our sponsorship fundraising page for Team Sugar!
We are a group of gay, lesbian, non-binary and cis-folks with long-time personal connections to the queer, non-binary, and trans communities in Toronto. Between us we have a wealth of experience in mental health, law, refugee advocacy, and human rights activism.
We are working together to sponsor this person with their kids to safety, this mother has kids belong to the LGBTQ+ community and she wants them to be safe, see them happy with the people they love, and be with them.
Your contributions to this fundraiser will help to make this possible and is intended to, among other things, provide support for 1-year inclusive of accommodation, mental health support, shelter and clothing.
