Each year about 150 people ask for our help.  We deliver full course meals to individuals who have difficulty with nutrition security.  They may have a physical or cognitive disabilty, be confined to their home after being released from hospital, or have limited access to groceries because they have no vehicle.  Whatever the reason, Meals on Wheels is pleased to help.  Our volunteers use their own cars to deliver nutritious meals prepared by the Interior Health Authority, three days per week.

Meals on Wheels receives a grant from Interior Health to cover most of the costs of employing our part-time coordinator who trains and schedules the volunteers, visits new clients in their homes, and liaises daily with the Interior Health kitchen.

We provide the meals to our clients for significantly less than the cost of purchasing and delivering them and need help from community donors to make ends meet.  Your donation will be very much appreciated!
