About This Charity

The Maverick Youth Opportunities Fund is a new registered charity whose mission is to “invest in opportunities that empower and transform youth to achieve their aspirations.” We will achieve this mission through providing financial assistance to youth who are facing financial barriers to participate in sport; scholarships to youth who demonstrate excellence in academics, athletics and community involvement; and, investing in programs that teach essential life skills to youth. MYOF was launched by the Maverick Volleyball Club as part of their 40th anniversary initiative.
