MCPA offers an accessible, comprehensive program of music and dance instruction for students of all ages and levels of ability. We provide quality education designed to inspire a lifelong interest in the arts, whether for personal enjoyment or a professional career.

As access to music and dance education continues to dwindle in public schools and elsewhere in our province, the Maritime Conservatory’s importance as a community hub is ever more pronounced. Beyond the vital opportunities for learning to play musical instruments, dancing in many styles, playing in ensembles and orchestras, our Centre for Music Therapy and our partnership with Saint George's YouthNet allows us to ensure that the arts are accessible for everyone in our community.

From the youngest baby in our ‘Kindermusik’ program to our ‘Silver Swans’ of ballet, to those who benefit from our Centre for Music Therapy and to those in our outreach program, we continue to nurture Nova Scotians in the only program of its kind east of Montreal. With your generous support you will help deliver education, engagement, and a lifelong love of the performing arts to Maritime Conservatory students for years to come.
