Every dog in our care is special, but our STARKE Dogs have faced incredible challenges, overcoming illness, injury, or emotional struggles. We renamed this program in honor of Karen Starke, a dedicated member of the MUR family who passed away in 2020. Karen's spirit lives on through this program, helping the dogs she loved so much.
