We celebrate Manitoba's 150th anniversary by inviting your vote on the MOST NOTABLE CURLING TEAM in Manitoba's long and storied history.
From our start before Manitoba became a province to the 2019-20 season when Manitoba teams won three World Championship gold medals, Manitobans have loved the sport of curling - recreationally in our clubs and competitively in arenas across the country and around the world.
The Manitoba Curling Hall of Fame and Museum has published a list of 150 NOTABLE TEAMS - the teams which established Manitoba's curling legend and the teams which extended it through the years. (CLICK HERE to see that complete list)
We have selected 25 men's, women's and mixed teams whose exceptional accomplishments merit your consideration as the MOST NOTABLE TEAM IN MANITOBA CURLING HISTORY. A vote-by-donating page has been set up here for each of these teams. Click on the team you consider THE MOST NOTABLE CURLING TEAM IN MANITOBA HISTORY and cast your vote by making a donation to support the efforts of the Manitoba Curling Hall of Fame & Museum to celebrate Manitoba's curling heritage. The minimum suggested donation is $10. A charitable donation receipt will automatically be issued to your email address.
If the committee has missed the team you consider the Most Notable Team - you are invited to click on the WILD CARD opportunity. Make your donation and identify your Wild Card choice in the 'message' space at that page. We will properly recognize the teams who receive Wild Card support.
The donation/voting period ends December 5, 2020. In mid-December, a People's Choice ranking of these 25 Notable Teams will be published along with an 'official' ranking as defined by an expanded committee which will include curling fans and curling media.
