1 in 2 Canadian women are expected to develop cancer in their lifetime.

Look Good Feel Better is Canada’s only national charitable program dedicated to helping women and teen girls facing the difficult cancer journey to feel more like themselves again.

At the heart of our supportive care program is a complimentary two-hour workshop which addresses the appearance-related impact of cancer and its treatment.

We provide tips on cosmetic hygiene and how to overcome the side effects treatment may cause such as uneven skin tone, dry skin and the loss of eyebrows and eyelashes.

Much more than that - Look Good Feel Better offers women a welcoming sense of community, where they can spend much-needed time on themselves and connect with other women facing similar challenges.

It is a place to regain a sense of self, share stories, insights, and even laughter during a difficult journey.

Women leave the workshop feeling empowered and with their spirits lifted, impacting not only their own well-being but that of those around them – her family and friends.

Look Good Feel Better supports the psycho-social definition of health that incorporates mental, emotional, social and spiritual well-being. Because we know that true health care treats the whole person - not just the physical.
