WHO WE ARE
The London Arts Council (LAC) is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life & creative vitality of London, Ontario. We work with public, private, and community partners to build and sustain Londoners’ awareness of, involvement in, and support for all artistic disciplines across the city. Our programs in the education, health, and community sectors provide paid opportunities for professional artists to create and deliver artworks.
We also provide resources and services for the London arts community, London residents, and visitors to our city, including the following:
- Administration of the Community Arts Investment Program, a funding program that fosters artistic excellence providing support for London's professional artists, artist collectives, and arts organizations.
- Assistance for artists, artist collectives, and arts organizations with professional development and training, networking and mentorship opportunities, as well as, community connection and accessibility.
Incorporated in 1995, the London Arts Council became a registered Charity in 2000.
