Our Mission

Living Rock Ministries is a non-profit, community-based organization that has been engaging, encouraging and equipping youth in Hamilton since 1985. We provide youth ages 13–25 with a safe place of belonging and access to basic needs, meaningful relationships, and opportunities to build a positive future. Over the last 40 years over 20,000 individual youth have been supported through our continuum of care.

About Living Rock Ministries

Living Rock is one of Hamilton’s longest-standing youth-focused agencies, supporting over 1,500 youth each year. Many of the youth we serve are experiencing homelessness, food insecurity, social isolation, or barriers to education and employment. Our goal is to meet young people where they are at, build trust and journey alongside youth as they work towards their personal development goals that create new pathways of stability, wellness and hope.

We offer:

• Daily meals, grocery and clothing supports to meet basic needs
• Youth drop-in programs that foster community and belonging
• Housing and system navigation support to reduce homelessness
• Life skills, education and employment training, including our work and learn programs
• Support for young parents, including material supports and mentorship
• Fitness and Wellness supports and programs
