Our Mission
little red theatre was established in 1988 with the mandate of bringing professional level theatre productions and workshops to young people in both official languages, English and French. Each year, little red theatre strives to create original work inspired by mythical ideas, books children love, great fairy tales and issues that children struggle with. The company was founded by Jody Terio, who remains as Artistic Director.
About little red theatre
little red theatre produces dramatic performances of great quality theatre using a wonderful eclectic mix of puppets, songs and original musical scores, dance and audio and visual technology. Productions are aimed at the Junior Kindergarten through Grade 6 constituency and are presented at schools, libraries and special venues (70,000+ children in about 225 schools each year. Workshops take place in the community.
