Our current goal is to increase access to affordable housing for adults with developmental disabilities. We have received requests to deliver Supported Independent Living services to individuals. However, the absence of suitable housing in North Perth has hindered access to services. Some have faced housing limitations due to a lack of accessible infrastructure, while others have precarious housing situations due to their behavioral needs. Some individuals require more support than what is available in community housing settings, but less than what is provided in a 24/7 Supported Group Living home. As the sole provider of residential services for individuals with developmental disabilities in North Perth our organization is seen as a pivotal source for solutions by those in need of support and by partnering organizations.
