Lily's Place is a registered charity and vegan-run farm sanctuary in Codys, New Brunswick, Canada, that provides care and refuge to aging, injured, and displaced farm animals. 

Organizational Background

Lily's Place Animal Sanctuary was founded in 2019 with the mission of providing a safe refuge for displaced farmed animals. We believe that all animals deserve a safe, caring space where they can live in peace, especially those who have been neglected or abandoned. Our sanctuary serves as a restorative and inspiring space where these animals can find solace and healing.

The need for our organization arises from the fact that there are limited options available for farmed animals when their guardians are no longer able to provide care or when they are subjected to cruelty and abandonment. Lily's Place Animal Sanctuary aims to fill this gap by offering a haven for these vulnerable animals.

In 2021, we made the decision to move our sanctuary to New Brunswick. This choice was driven by the lack of farmed animal sanctuaries in Canada, particularly in the underserved region of NB. We recognized the opportunity to make a significant impact by bringing our sanctuary to an area that greatly needs it.

At Lily's Place Animal Sanctuary, we are committed to providing the highest level of care for our residents. Our dedicated team of volunteers works tirelessly to ensure that each animal receives the love, attention, and resources they need to thrive. We also prioritize education and advocacy, striving to raise awareness about the plight of farmed animals and promote compassionate choices. Through community outreach and partnerships, we aim to create a more compassionate world for animals.
