From November 4 until the December 31 LIFT is looking to raise $20,000 in donations to go towards operational support of our organization. This support will enable us to continue our high level of outreach efforts, production support, and developing new teaching and mentorship opportunities.

HOW YOUR DONATION SUPPORTS LIFT

Fundraising is a year round activity for an artist run centre like LIFT. Although we have a healthy mix of earned revenue and government grants the precarious reality of the independent arts impacts an organization like LIFT as well. If you have the means to donate – even just $10 – you will be helping LIFT serve the growing demand for educational and technical resources and continue to keep LIFT accessible to all artists!

$150.00 donation Allows us to acquire refurbished analogue equipment

$500.00 donation Covers equipment rentals for a hands-on filmmaker mentorship 

$800 donation Can cover accessibility costs for one eight-hour workshop 

$1000.00 donation Covers the expenses of facilitating a workshop through our community projects collaborations
