Every child is a miracle to behold.  While some children are born healthy, others face physical and mental obstacles that make them have to work harder in life.  The Lethbridge Therapeutic Riding Association is dedicated to helping those individuals and setting them up for success.

       We are a registered charitable organization established in 1976, to offer instruction in riding and horse care to individuals with various disabilities.  Heavily reliant on hundreds of volunteers, direct community support and private donations to meet their annual operating budget of more than $350,000.00, the LTRA is seeking your support to fund our operating budget so we meet the needs of our students, many who have few other opportunities to feel independent and enjoy the enriching experiences that time spent on and with a horse can provide.

           We strive to maintain a program of horseback riding as a physical, psychological and recreational activity, in collaboration with the medical profession.  We continue to advocate the value of horses for those with mental and/or physical disabilities, and riding for therapeutic purposes. And we continue to provide instruction in riding and horse care to people of all ages and abilities.
