The LHYC is a place where everyone is welcome and can be themselves. All year round it is my second home. We have so much fun there. Most days I don't want to leave. I have made so many friends and I can’t wait to meet more. Every time someone comes in they are welcomed with a big smile.

The Youth Centre is my safe space, or even my second home. It’s a place where I can release all my stress and live a little. It’s a place where I feel I can be myself and not worry about being judged. The youth and staff there always make me feel safe and happy.

They are open to all opinions and situations, and they are always there to help. I feel that I am at my best there, and I am mentally healthier being able to go there every week. I feel that the youth centre has made me a better person in many ways I wouldn’t have been able to do on my own.

This is a place where when you walk in and instantly all tension and stress just evaporates. The staff always listen to your day and you feel like they care. This is a place you can come to escape family drama, school bullying, and more. To me the LHYC is a place you can escape to a safe haven.
