LAMP Community Health Centre is a multi-service, community based, charitable organization that provides a wide range of programs and services to improve a person’s health. LAMP uses a coordinated, equity-based approach to build access and connect people to medical services and other community programs that maintain good health and build personal resources. By providing services that improve physical, emotional, social and economic wellbeing, people can better control their health and environment.
LAMP Community Health Centre strives to improve quality of life by supporting people to reach their full potential. We do this by working in partnership with our community to address new and emerging community needs, and by supporting a wide-range of health care services, community programs, and advocacy initiatives that promote the physical, emotional, social, and economic well-being of our community.
LAMP Community Health Centre has been a staple in the Mimico-South Etobicoke community since 1976. We serve all ages, infants to seniors, offering a wide array of programs and services, including: healthcare (physician, dental and chiropodist services); adult learning computer literacy, housing and legal services through our community partner Albion Neighbourhood Services; food provisions through our program snacks; mental health counselling; childcare through our partner the YMCA, youth and parenting programs; as well as fitness and nutrition classes and social groups for adults, teens and seniors.
